About us 

The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) was founded on November 30, 2017.

SEAU is the largest non-profit and non-governmental organization that unites participants in the solar market in Ukraine.

The highest governing body of the Association is the General Assembly of participants. Between General Assemblies, SEAU's activities are managed by the Board.

Any active participant of SEAU can recommend their representative to the Board of SEAU. This representative is elected at the General Assembly.

Holds two higher educations: Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation, and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Faculty of Law. Is a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

An energy expert with 25 years of experience, a lawyer, and a partner at the law firm "Sokolovsky and Partners.

A thought leader in the solar community, the chairman of the domestic PV systems committee at the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine , a well-known YouTuber, founder of the "GreenPowerTalk" forum, and a corresponding Facebook group with a large audience. Since 2017, he has experience in building his own domestic PV system and has researched over 100 PV systems owned by others.

Responsible at SEAU for the development of decentralized solar generation.

The head of the company "ATMOSFERA ENGINEERING", an expert in the field of renewable energy with over 25 years of experience, is a member of the Public Council under the State Energy Efficiency

He is responsible in SEAU for engineering and economic issues of the activities of association members.

​YURII FAVORSKYY

Renowned expert in the solar energy market. The first president of the SEAU. Representative of the company "Energy.ua." Former lead engineer at the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Possesses extensive experience in small wind power generation and solar systems. Serves as the authorized representative of the Association of Solar Energy of Ukraine in Germany. Responsible for international relations at the SEAU, particularly with BSW.

An active participant in the solar community, he protects the interests of home SPP owners in relations with state bodies of the energy sector, in particular: NKREKP, "Guaranteed Buyer", "UkrEnergo", "Market Operator".


He is responsible in SEAU for the support of members of the Home Solar panels Committee Association.

Executive Director of the engineering company "Solar Systems." Ambassador of the largest YouTube channel in the field of solar energy, "Solar Systems."

Svyatoslav oversees the activities of the SEAU Board, ensuring accountability of the leadership to all SEAU members.

SEАU Committees

Committees are the main tool for achieving SE AU goals and implementing initiatives by members of the Union. Today, 8 committees are actively working in SEAU.
